More pics from the weekend

Grandpa and Grandma got the boys a huge inflatable pool. We set it up on Saturday and spent the entire morning enjoying the pool and relaxing with our neighbors.

Ahhh, Colorado delivers a beautiful weekend!

We took the kids to Civic Green park for the weekly play date. I could not keep Austin or Colin out of the water. Austin beat the heat by wading in the water.

He is fearless and walks directly into the fountains you see behind him.He was not so happy when I pulled him away from the fountains. Look at that face!

First let me begin by showing you this sight for soar eyes. Colin's new found mobility comes with lots of bumps and bruises. I decided that it was time to put him in walking shoes, hoping they might help him walk with a little more stability.
This was his reaction...

This is him about 45 minutes later. Please notice his feet have not moved a single millimeter! Now I know this is tough love, but Colin was in NO way being harmed by these shoes. He was acting as if I had turned his whole world up-side-down. Talk about a drama king! I am happy to report that today, Colin is walking just fine in his walking shoes :)

A Rainy Memorial Day Weekend

Sorry for the lack of posts. We've been a busy family! Last week was Memorial Day Weekend and in true Colorado fashion, the weekend was filled with unpredictable weather making barbecuing outside a little difficult.But that didn't stop Grandma and Austin from playing outside! Nana made an American Flag cake. Colin and Austin got a head start on their desert.
Once again, Austin is licking those lips. Wonder what GG was feeding him???

Summer is not too far away...

... and this pic says it all! Austin and I went to a birthday party this afternoon and our friend (Ross) snapped an adorable picture of Austin enjoying his 4th piece of watermelon. His face just screams pure yumminess (I made that word up) and satisfaction! May we all be reminded of the simple pleasures that can bring so much joy to our lives :)

Happy Mothers Day!

It's a rare day when I get both of the boys to sit still, smile and take a picture with me!The Dad's planned a wonderful picnic for the occasion but it was a cold and rainy day. The picnic ended moving indoors. It was still delicious and we had wonderful company!
The boys were constantly on the go. They are just so busy!
And here's a pic of all the ladies that made this beautiful family what it is today! We are so blessed and I love you all so much.
