Winter has finally arrived in Colorado!

It's been and abnormally warm beginning to the winter season in Colorado but this weekend we finally got several inches of snow to really kick off winter! Austin wanted to go outside and help Joel shovel the drive way but he only lasted about 2 minutes before he thought it was too cold.We also got our first taste of the holiday season with a couple of the neighborhood girls, Natalie and Sydney, singing us a holiday carol. Too sweet, we just love our
cul de sac!All the snow motivated us to put up our Christmas decor.First family picture in front of the tree! Here's the boys in some matching aviation jackets for the winter. So stylish! Who says that boy clothes aren't as cute as girls???Ross, Annette and Liam came over for lunch today so the boys could get rid of some energy together. Annette could go into labor now any day!
High 5's!By the way boys... the couch is not a trampoline! :0)Can we say... "strike a pose"Cheese!
Here's a pic of Austin riding a horse at the House of Bounce. $.50 sure doesn't get you that long of a ride! Here is a picture of Colin crawling!!!!!... well, kinda. He is so close. He's really good at crawling backwards though!!!

Another pic with me and the boys on Thanksgiving. It's pretty hard to get a pic with everyone smiling.

Thanksgiving 08

We spent Thanksgiving this year with lots of wonderful friends and family. Thanks to Jimmy and Donna for hosting Thanksgiving for 14 adults, 4 toddlers and 3 babies! It was quite the crowd. Here is Fran and Donna taking some time off to take a pic.Jimmy, however, was a cleaning machine! GG was there to entertain the kiddos.
Colin is getting so big! He is 8 months old now and already 22 lbs!

Say cheese!
Here are the newest additions to the crew, Alan and Jack.

It was not easy trying to get a picture of these 3 kiddos. Amelia, Brooke and Austin were constantly on the go!!!

Grandpa, on the other hand, was doing what he does best... Sleeping!

Here's Papa Craig, Joel and Uncle Chris watching some football.

Me, Anne and Ania were on baby duty.

The Orlik family, Tom, Ania, Alan and Amelia.

And the Ostrom family. Claudine, Lorin and Brad.

A group shot of all the moms.

Here is Anne and I with Jack and Alan.

And of course, proud Grandma Donna with Jack!

Colin's new buddies...

Introducing...Jack James Svalstad, born October 24, 2008 and...
Alan Orlik, born November 12, 2008.
I foresee lots of fun in the future!!!

Just Because

So I found several pictures from our other camera that I thought was broken. There are some fun pics that I couldn't resist posting. Here we are at the park and we ran into a little boy that could've been Austin's twin + 3 years.

Speaking of twins, Ania and Annette showed up at the park looking mighty similar. Ania had her baby boy, Alan Orlik, today at 10:09am. He weighed in at 8 lbs 10 oz, 20 inches long! Congrats! Annette is due mid December.

The family came over for dinner. Thanks to my new job, I have been cooking a lot more!

Grandma's back must be feeling a lot better. Here she is tossing Colin up in the air, which is not an easy task with a 22 lb baby!

Colin's sitting skills are getting much better so we decided it was time for the boys to take their first bath together. They had such a great time. Austin is such a wonderful big brother. He was very careful with Colin.

Well... most of the time he was... Watch out Colin!

Happy Halloween!

Here's the boys in their Halloween outfits! Austin loved trick-or-treating. He woke up this morning and started his day off with a Tootsie pop, Reese's Peanut butter cup and a Kit Kat.

It was such a beautiful Halloween evening that me and the neighbors (Brittany, Nicole and Tammy) hung out in the drive way while the kids trick-or-treated.
