We're going to miss you lots Grandpa!

My dad is a volunteer for the Red Cross and is being sent to the Hurricane Gustav Relief Effort for the next 3 weeks, maybe longer :o( He is going to be very missed. Austin loves his Grandpa so much and we all hope he comes home safe and sound. We love you!!!! You're our HERO Grandpa!

It's a Carnival

Two of the neighborhood boys, Grey and TJ, turned 4 last weekend. They had a carnival themed birthday party in our cul de sac. There was a train for the kids to ride.

Austin turns 2!!!!!!

We celebrated Austin's 2nd birthday, August 28th, with his first visit to Chucky Cheese. You can click on the video play button above to check out the family singing Happy Birthday to him! We were joined by all the Grandparents, Great Grandma, Uncle Chris, Ania and Amelia, and Annette and Liam. Austin had wonderful time. There was so much to do that he wasn't too interested in the food or cake. Can you imagine that???? Happy Birthday to our little cutie man. By the way, Austin learned his ABC's!! He sings them all the time. Sometimes I wake up at 3am and hear him singing the alphabet to himself :o)

Keeping Busy

Colin had been reaching for my food for weeks! We finally gave in and have let him try cereal for the first time.
It was a hit and a lot of miss. He wasn't quite sure what to think of it. Here's Colin hanging out with 2 month old Hayden. Can you believe he's 5 months old already?! His clothes are all 9 month. We didn't even get a chance to take the 6 month clothes out of the box!

Fun times with Amelia and Liam. Liam has been gone all summer so the kids had to do some catching up.

I took the boys to the Littleton Historical Museum which is a working farm. Here we are getting ready to read some farm books.
Austin went to a birthday party at McDonald's. He was way more into the cake than the Happy Meal.

So I finally gave in and got Austin a hair cut. We didn't cut too much off though. We're trying to keep the surfer boy look :o)

Take Austin out to the Ball Game!!

Joel and I took Austin to his first Colorado Rockies game this weekend. He wanted so badly to be down on the field so he could "hit the ball"!!!
We had great seats. Austin also enjoyed eating roasted peanuts for the first time.
We got a close up look at "Dinger", the Rockies mascot.
There is also a playground at the Base Ball Stadium.
It was a wonderful evening. Austin got mom and dad all to himself!

Big Milestones!!!

Here is Austin holding Colin. He's always trying to pick him up but Mr. Colin is a tad too heavy.
Austin has FINALLY learned how to use the pedals on the bike thanks to the neighbors girls Brody (left) and Shelby (right).
Colin has been rolling stomach to back for several weeks now. Yesterday was his first time rolling back to stomach.
He also loves to play in his exersaucer. He's got great head control.

Brooke turns 2!

Austin and I went to Brooke's 2nd birthday party today. Here's Brooke splashing around in her birthday gift from mom and dad. It's a pretty big blow up pool!
