Austin's 1st Birthday Party

Austin turned a year old on August 28th! We had a fun filled birthday party with lots of fun, food, family and friends! As you can see in the picture below, Austin got his fill of cake. Both grandmas made sure that he had plenty of sweets, especially when mom was not looking!

The cake had a jungle theme!

Austin even got his very own cake to destroy himself!
By the way, he was up all night on a sugar high!

Summer time 2007...

Nana and papa Lucius are temporarily living with us while they look for a new home. So in the meantime I put nana to work helping me babysit. Here she is holding Brooke and Austin.

And here she is with a sleeping Austin. Too cute! They were swinging outside and Austin couldn't stay awake.

Happy 30th Birthday Annette! A group of us moms got together for a girls night out on the town!!!

Austin Lee is 10 months!

Austin is showing off his pearly whites! He has 4 teeth!!

He has also learned how to pull himself up on the furniture. I am sure he'll be walking in the next couple of months.

We went over to Brooke's house for a play date.

Grandma Ellsworth helped me take Austin and Tysen to the pool. Austin is a handful in the water. He has NO fear.

We need to get him into swimming lessons soon!

Mom and dad head to Vegas, with no baby!!!

So not all our posts have to do with babies! Joel and I escaped to Las Vegas for an 'adults only' weekend! We visited with our dear friends Tom and Amy while we were there. Amy is expecting her first baby later this summer! She made a great designated driver :o)

May 2007, On the move, Austin is crawling!!!

Austin started crawling this month!!! Mom and dad need to baby proof the house.

All the crawling is making Austin extremely hungry...

And tired! Every now and then, we need a thumb sucking break!

Speaking of tired... Brooke and Austin played a little too hard this afternoon. Do you think they need a nap???

Mothers Day 2007

We spent Mothers Day at Grandma and Grandpa Ellsworth's house.

Hiking in April 2007

We went hiking with our friends through Castle Wood Canyon. Spring has finally arrived in Colorado and we are enjoying some beautiful Colorado scenery.

Austin, Joel, Annette and I made it to the bottom of the canyon.

After the hike we went into downtown Castle Rock for some lunch. Austin and Liam were practicing their high five skills.
